Applications are being accepted for a full-time Coordinator for Student Athlete Success. As an essential position in the newly created Student Success Center, the Coordinator for Student Athlete Success works with student athletes and former student athletes to help them find academic and co-curricular success, ultimately tied to student retention and persistence. The coordinator works closely with athletic staff to support students who are working on fully experiencing their academic and co-curricular experience, while also balancing their athletic opportunities. The coordinator provides direct academic support to student athletes. The coordinator also helps student-athletes who may transition away from their college athletic experience. This is a full-time, twelve-month appointment.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Experience working with undergraduate student athletes on a college campus.

Preferred Skills

Master's degree in a relevant field. Understanding of student development issues and effective learning strategies. Knowledge of NCAA regulations. Experience at an NCAA Division III institution. Ability to anticipate the needs of students in a one course at a time curriculum. Ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally in a variety of situations. Organization and computer skills. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
