Cornell College invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Circulation Coordinator. This position oversees circulation and reserves; hires and supervises student circulation desk assistants; monitors and updates the patron database; assists in the development and communication related to policies of circulation; serves as the library's lead with social media; and coordinates the processing of overdue, lost, and billed library materials.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.

Preferred Skills

  • Skills in using catalogs and databases; word processing, database and spreadsheet construction, cataloging, and teaching individuals.
  • Ability to work effectively with staff, students, faculty, and public, and to maintain confidentiality.
  • Capable of acting with sound judgment in regard to security and safety of patrons and building and library resources.
  • Skills in oral and written communication.
