Cornell College invites applications for a full-time marketing content manager. This position supports all aspects of content development for admission communications, including print, email, web, text messaging, and engagement tools like quizzes and contests.  It also acts as backup content developer for college web properties and backup posting to social media channels as needed. The marketing content manager serves as the content developer and governance manager for all print materials, ensuring that the message and voice of the college are maintained in each piece produced by the Office of Marketing and Communications (OMC). This person will work to stay current on best communication strategies for the incoming student generation and guide the department in adapting to new messaging methods.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and 2-5 years spent creating marketing-focused content and writing for the web required. Experience in higher education preferred.

Successful candidates should be skilled in writing for print, email, web, and social media; curating a consistent voice across materials for multiple audiences; working within AP style guidelines, editing, and working within a CMS. The right candidate will have experience with, or be willing to learn how to implement and reporting on email best practices and analytics.  Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills and the ability to communicate effectively and interact professionally with colleagues and vendors is required. We're looking for a team-oriented, self-motivated, strategic thinker with the ability to develop and follow through on concepts and ideas who is prepared to adapt to changing priorities necessary. Familiarity with Windows, Google tools, social media platforms, and flexibility with web-based software platforms will help you prepare for this role.
