Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship in English with a focus on Eighteenth-Century British Literature and Writing. This is a 5/6th part-time position. Responsibilities include teaching a total of five courses and participating in departmental activities. Courses will include one advanced course in eighteenth-century British Literature, one course in Advanced Critical Writing, and three sections of a topic-based first-year writing course. Some funding is available to support travel to, and attendance at, professional meetings during the year. ABD or PhD in English is required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
