Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for a Teaching Fellowship in the Department of Classical and Modern Languages.  This is a 5/6th part-time position. Responsibilities include teaching a total of five courses and participating in departmental activities. Courses will include Beginning Latin III, (8/27-9/19/18) Classic Mythology (in English), (11/26-12/19/18) Roman History, (2/11-3/6/19), Roman Historians (in Latin) (3/18-4/10/19) and Beginning Ancient Greek III, (4/15-5/8/19).  Some funding is available to support travel to, and attendance at, professional meetings during the year. ABD or PhD in Classics is required. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to teaching and mentoring students.
