Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for an adjunct instructor or instructor to teach multiple sections of Spanish 101, 102 and 103 in the 2018-2019 academic year.  Introduction to speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension in Spanish. Students will interact actively in class through group activities, dialogues, and oral work. Readings emphasize culture, literature and contemporary life in the Spanish-speaking countries. Spanish 101, 102 and 103 are the first, second and third courses in a three-course sequence of Beginning Spanish.  Although the College would prefer the courses all be taught by one instructor, candidates interested in teaching part of the listed classes below may apply. We are especially interested in advanced graduate students looking to expand their teaching portfolios by teaching at a liberal arts college. Candidates should possess or be in the process of completing a Ph.D. in Spanish; candidates with an MA may be considered.  Affordable furnished housing may be available upon request.

Teaching hours: 9-12 or 12-3 daily
